Pep Boys Continues Expansion of National Automotive Service Network

Pep Boys has acquired PJ’s Auto & Tire Center in Franklin Square, N.Y. The company also a new location in Bordentown, New Jersey.

Pep Boys has acquired PJ’s Auto & Tire Center in Franklin Square, N.Y. The company also a new location in Bordentown, New Jersey.

“We are pleased to grow our presence in both the New York metropolitan market and the greater Philadelphia area,” said James Healy, senior vice president of corporate development and strategy for Icahn Automotive Group. “With these two new locations, Icahn Automotive is adding to our network of approximately 1,500 service centers nationwide.”

PJ’s, a family-run business since 1980, is a six-bay shop located in a high-traffic neighborhood in Franklin Square on Long Island. Like the new six-bay shop in Bordentown, it will operate as a Pep Boys Service & Tire Center, offering total car care to its customers.

Pep Boys is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Icahn Automotive Group LLC.
