The contest was inspired by a series of Nucap NRS brakes TV commercials last fall, said Nucap. One commercial featured a mild-mannered mechanic who finally loses his cool over poor brake quality. The Raging Mechanic video contest, said Nucap, “seeks the same sort of irreverent, unique look at brake service situations that come up in the shop on a daily basis.”
Nucap launched a Web site – www.ragingmechanic.com – to provide a forum for techs to discuss repair business, products, repair procedures, training tips and problems they commonly see.
