National Tire Safety Week, April 20-26 this year, is an initiative of the Rubber Manufacturers Association’s Be Tire Smart – Play Your PART tire care education program.
The kit includes National Tire Safety Week and Be Tire Smart artwork, guides for planning events, and much more. Additionally, tire dealers and automotive service outlets can order free consumer brochures and posters from RMA.
“The kit can be an effective tool to promote tire care, which can lead to a safer driving experience,” said Dan Zielinski, RMA senior vice president of public affairs. “While it can be useful for National Tire Safety Week, the material is applicable for use throughout the year.”
Partners in RMA’s Be Tire Smart program include a wide range of independent tire dealers, such as American Car Care Centers, Big 10 Tires, Belle Tire, Big O Tires, Discount Tire Co., Expert Tire, Just Tires, Kaufman Tire, Les Schwab, Merchant’s Tire, National Tire and Battery, Northwest Tire, Peerless Tires, STS Tire and Auto Centers, Sullivan Tires, Tire Factory, Tire Kingdom, Tire One, Tires Plus, Tire Warehouse, Town Fair Tires, VIP Parts, Tires and Service, and many others.
