Called “Safety Pays,” the tool is available at the Web site for OHSA’s Office of Small Business Assistance. With the tool, dealers can calculate the direct and indirect costs of on-the-job injuries, and the amount of revenue needed to compensate for the loss.
OHSA said the Web-based application requires no downloading and includes up-to-date injury cost figures.
In addition, the OSBA site now features access to Spanish-language safety materials including cards, booklets and posters. (Tire Review/Akron)
