The company said the tire inflator is the first UL-approved digital inflator, and has an accuracy of +/- 0.5 psi. The product was developed to “guarantee uniform pressure in all tires and the elimination of time-consuming comebacks from unnecessary TPMS warnings,” the company said.
“AutoFlate’s easy-to-use design means inflation can be carried out on or off the tire changer in around 40 seconds, leaving technicians the opportunity to change the next tire while inflation occurs,” Hennessy said. “For the average shop, this could mean a 5% to 10% increase in jobs per day.”
The new product can also quickly switch from air to nitrogen inflation modes, Hennessy said. (Tire Review/Akron)
