Beginning today through Aug. 31, Bridgestone Americas company-owned tire stores will be helping combat senior hunger in America.
With each purchase of an oil change and tire rotation, the stores group will donate $1 to the Meals On Wheels Association of America, as well as provide the customer with a free tire inspection, battery check, air pressure check, washer fluid top-off, vehicle courtesy check and a manufacturer’s scheduled maintenance printout.
The special service package is available at all Bridgestone company-owned stores, including Firestone Complete Auto Care, Tires Plus, ExpertTire and Wheel Works.
“We are proud to be a national partner with such an important organization and to continue to support the group’s effort of combating senior hunger,” said Larry Magee, chairman, CEO and president of Bridgestone America’s store group. “We not only care about keeping our customer’s vehicles running newer longer, but also about each and every one of the communities that we call home. Donating to MOWAA by purchasing one of our special service packages is getting us closer to the goal of ending senior hunger.”
MOWAA represents local senior nutrition programs in urban, suburban and rural communities in every state in America. Through some 5,000 independently run and operated meal delivery and congregate meal programs, MOWAA volunteers deliver more than one million meals per day to hundreds of thousands of seniors nationwide.
