Marangoni Tread North America Hires New Management Positions

Marangoni Tread North America, a full-service supplier and distributor of  retread, has announced that addition of three new executives to the organization as a result of increased market demand for their portfolio.

Marangoni Tread North America, a full-service supplier and distributor of  retread, has announced that addition of three new executives to the organization as a result of increased market demand for their portfolio.

Clif Armstrong has been brought in as the new vice president of new business development. Armstrong has had prior experience in the tire industry with Pirelli Industrial, Continental Tire and Yokohama Tire.  He has experience in multiple executive functions including sales, marketing, operations and developing a tire company owned commercial store network.

Michael Aguon has been hired on as the regional sales manager. Aguon has over 25 years in the tire industry in various management roles with several tire entities including Bridgestone, Alliance Tire Group, CFI and BKT Tires. He started his career at Bridgestone in the sales engineering department, and was promoted to the OTR division where he held several positions including OTR Field Engineering Manager, and Major Mine Account Executive.

Phil McDonald has been added to the Marangoni Tread team as the northeast regional sales manager. McDonald brings over 30 years of experience in the tire industry from working for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., OTR Wheel Engineering, and Hankook Tire America Corp. Throughout his career he has held various management positions that include commercial new tire sales, retreading, distribution and national accounts.
