Kings Road's Wide Range - Tire Review Magazine

Kings Road’s Wide Range

(Clacton, U.K./Tyres & Accessories) Kings Road Tyres is a leading truck tyre wholesaler, holding what is probably the largest range of tyres available in the UK and Ireland.

KRT’s philosophy is to offer customers a choice of brands that cover the premium, mid-range, super budget and budget tyre sector. Brands extensively stocked include Bridgestone, Continental, Firestone, Kumho and the new Infinity range.

In addition to these core brands, KRT is the only company in the UK and Ireland to have its own private brand truck tyre – Kingstone – which fits into the super budget/mid range sector. Kingstone is manufactured by Continental in Europe and is now said to be an established brand within the market place. Kingstone brand products are exclusive to KRT and can only be purchased from Kings Road Tyres.

Quality is essential for all products that KRT sells and the company prides itself on its ability to “choose the best brands available, as is the case with the latest addition – Infinity.” Since this new brand was introduced, new sizes and patterns have been added and, according to KRT, will soon be one of the most extensive ranges of budget tyres available in the UK and Ireland.

Due to its high volume of sales, KRT has special offers and deals on a wide variety of known makes across the spectrum of the truck market, in addition to its core brands.

Uniroyal Truck Tyres sell and distribute exclusively the Uniroyal brand truck. Although a KRT Group company, sales, distribution and marketing are operated independently from KRT wholesale. The strategy is that, by keeping Uniroyal truck tyres independent, the brand is able to flourish on its own merit.

Tyres are delivered on either a next-day or 2/3 day delivery service. “Uniroyal Truck Tyres boasts an impressive range and with superb quality in mind, is aimed at the mid range tyre sector, remaining competitively priced, encouraging more and more distributors to stock and offer Uniroyal whilst adding value to their business,” Peter Gaster told Tyres & Accessories.
