Infinity has always had a strong presence in European markets, where distribution is controlled by Goldspark Trading, an Al Dobowi company.

In turn, Goldspark has appointed Kings Road Tyres as the main truck tyre distributor for the U.K. and Ireland, with Dutch company Heuver Banden looking after the countries in mainland Europe. The product range is continually being developed and added to, with new steer and drive patterns in sizes 295/80R22.5 and 315/80R22.5 creating a great deal of interest in the market.

Goldspark’s General Manager Rob Henderson describes the truck tyre brand as "excellent value for money" and, when it comes to the extent of the range, he points out that it encompasses sizes from 16-inch tyres up to 445/65R22.5.
To cater for expected sales growth, production capacity of the Infinity brand in China is being increased, says Henderson, from the current three million units to four million in 2008. Indeed, this increase is just part of an ambitious expansion plan by Shandong Linglong, which currently has a new tyre factory under construction.

With products ranging from passenger car tyres through to tyres for large, OTR and mining machines, Shandong Linglong is active in a number of sectors, as well as selling its products in all the world’s major markets. The company recognises that, if it is to achieve the growth targets it has set itself, then it will need additional production capacity.

By adding this sooner rather than later, it will be able to cater for growth in its own brands as well as private brands such as Infinity. For their part, Goldspark and its distributors have the reassurance of knowing that their efforts to increase demand for Infinity tyres will not be hampered by any lack of production capacity.
