With six of its 36 seats open, the TIA of Board of Directors saw limited turnover in its latest board election. And only two of those board seats went to new members.
Chip Huber of Q Fix Truck Service in Louisville, Ky., was elected secretary of the board, putting him in line to become TIA president.
Newly elected to three-year terms were Paul Dvorak of American Industrial Tire/American Discount Tire Corp. in Dallas; and Dan Rose of Tire Alliance Groupe in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Returning to the board for another term will be Ernie Caramanico of Amityville Firestone, Amityville, N.Y.; Randall Groh of US Autoforce, Combined Locks, Wis.; Tom Wright of Wright Tire Service, Anoka, Minn.; and Stu Zurcher of Dealer Strategic Planning, Angola, Ind.
The new and returning board members will be seated during TIA’s annual meeting, set for Nov. 1 at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, prior to the start of the GTE/SEMA Show.
