Hankook Tire, the official tire of Major League Baseball, will provide thrills to baseball fans at MLB All-Star Week in Washington D.C. from July 13-17.
The company will be active before and during the All-Star Game Presented by MasterCard, which will take place July 17 at Nationals Park.
The fun starts at the Geico All-Star FanFest, held July 13-17 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, the company says. Hankook will host a booth at the event that will feature special prizes and baseball-themed Hankook merchandise, a life-sized baseball/tire pinball game and other interactive opportunities.
Hankook will also host an honored military veteran at the game as part of its relationship with DAV (Disabled American Veterans). The company is providing the veteran and guests with free tickets to the Geico All-Star FanFest and the game, then accompanying them to both events.
“Hankook Tire is proud of its partnership with Major League Baseball and excited to participate in MLB All-Star Week,” said Hosung Suh, Hankook Tire America Corp. president. “Just as MLB provides special moments on the field, Hankook enjoys giving drivers special moments on the road. We also value our military veterans and are pleased to provide a token of our appreciation by inviting a DAV member to the game.”
