Hankook UEFA Europa LeagueHankook Tire has extended its sponsorship contract with the UEFA Europa League, making the company an official partner of the club competition for another three years until the end of the 2017/18 season.

The company will benefit from additional brand exposure including increased perimeter board advertising in the stadiums, and media backdrops during player interviews and official UEFA press conferences. In contrast to the previous sponsorship cycle, Hankook’s perimeter board advertising will be visible from the group stages through to the final match.

With an average matchweek audience of 69 million television viewers throughout 200 countries worldwide, Hankook Tire said it will be exposed worldwide.

By conducting various activities around UEFA Europa League as one of the key official sponsors, Hankook has been able to actively engage with not only football fans, but also the global partners and consumers, the tiremaker added.

“We are very pleased to be able to announce the extension of our successful partnership with the UEFA Europa League for another three seasons,” said Seung-Hwa Suh, vice chairman and CEO of Hankook Tire. “With our wide range of diverse sponsorship activities including the UEFA Europa League and a number of other prominent motorsports, Hankook Tire aims to carve out a name for itself beyond its stronghold in the tire sector. Furthermore, Hankook Tire aims to diversify its profile by building the reputation for excellent, technologically advanced products across the entire automobile industry. ”
