Greenville Michelin Plant Gets $26 Million Investment

(Akron/Tire Review) Michelin North America (MNA) plans to spend some $26 million on improvements to its Greenville, S.C., passenger and light truck/SUV tire plant. The capital program will boost capacity there by 20%, said MNA.

It was the third North American capital improvement program announced by NA in the last three months. The company committed $85 million to boost capacity at its Lexington, S.C., OTR tire plant, and another $80 million to increased super wide tire capacity at its Waterville, Nova Scotia, plant.
