Goodyear Posts Contingency Program for Spec Miata Endurance Championship

(Akron/Tire Review) The U.S. Endurance Racing Association (USERA) announced that the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. is posting a product contingency program worth $17,600 for the 2006 Championship season of the USERA Spec Miata Endurance Championship.

The contingency program will provide four free tires to teams running Goodyear tires that come in first, second and third places.

"Goodyear is such a strong name in motorsports, and having them associated with our Championship is very exciting," said Ken Grammer, president of USERA. "As one of the few professional road racing series with an open tire rule, we are looking forward to the addition of Goodyear as a tire choice for our teams.”
