Gallagher Tire Sending Students to Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week

Pennsylvania-based Gallagher Tire Inc. is sponsoring four scholarships for the 2016 Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week (PFEW) program.

With several seven-day sessions hosted between July 3-Aug. 3, the PFEW program brings high school students together with business people throughout the state to learn about the American free enterprise system. Students team up to simulate companies and the actual operation of their own business for the equivalent of three years, Gallagher said.

“After almost 30 years, I can still recall many moments from my week at PFEW,” said JP Gallagher, president o Gallagher Tire. “The program is special to all that participate. I look forward to the letters I receive from the sponsored participants every year. The program gives so much more than an insight to business and the real world. Gallagher Tire is very proud to help high school students from Pennsylvania participate in PFEW.”
