Fountain Tire Expands in Grande Prairie

Fountain Tire will open a second location in Grande Prairie at the start of 2008, to better serve the growing economy.

Since 1982, the Fountain Tire store at 130th Ave and 100th Street in Grande Prairie has serviced the tire and auto repair needs of local residents and business owners.

Located on the north end of town, the new location occupies 15,000 square feet and has 12 bays, including three drive-through truck bays. The new store will focus on serving the business customer’s commercial vehicle needs – from small fleets to large semi-trucks – while the existing location is best equipped to service consumer vehicles such as cars, SUVs, pickup trucks and minivans.

Fifteen new associates and technicians have been hired. The new store is scheduled to open Jan. 2, while the official Grand Opening celebration will be hosted next spring by the staff. (Tire Review/Akron)
