A1GP, which had used Cooper race tires since its inception, is switching to Michelin for the upcoming season. The series is switching to Ferrari-based engines and chassis, as well.

We continued our reputation as the easiest tyre company to do business with as our service teams provided excellent trackside service to A1GP on every continent, and our race engineers provided a very consistent product for more than 500,000 kms on our race tyres.
“As we considered renewing our contract for the next three years, we could not justify the enormous expense involved in supplying this global series.
