Conti VP Recognized as Top Financial Exec

Continental Tire the Americas vice president of finance and Continental Automotive Inc. vice president and treasurer, Tim Rogers, was recognized by the Charlotte Business Journal as the 2016 CFO of the Year in the large business category.

The Charlotte Business Journal presents the CFO of the Year award to honor the top financial executives in Charlotte, N.C.

Rogers has more than 13 years of experience in lead financial positions at Continental Tire the Americas, and was a key part in Conti’s investments across the Americas – including investments for the $500 million tire manufacturing facility in South Carolina and a $1.4 billion investment for the commercial vehicle tire manufacturing facility in Mississippi.

Rogers was also awarded the Business Turnaround Award for his contributions to Conti’s financial success.

McCarthy Tire Service recently opened a new in-house commercial wheel refinishing facility. According to the company, the facility has the ability to refinish over 1,000 wheels per day and technicians will utilize equipment for inspection, surface preparation, pre-treatment, and automated coating techniques at the facility.
