Conti Kicks Off ‘Show Us Your Gear’ Promo

Continental has introduced a new promotion for Elite RPM Club members that enables them to earn 250 extra points in their accounts. The “Show Us Your Gear” promotion encourages members to post a photo of themselves on the RPM Facebook page wearing or holding Continental Elite RPM gear.

“Members who participate in this promotion will receive 250 points in their account that can be applied to their total for our year-end grand prize,” said Tom Lee, marketing manager of North American aftermarket products. “Additionally, a prize drawing for this promotion will be held from all the entries and the winner will receive a Continental Yeti 30 oz. travel mug and a $25 Starbucks gift card.

Yokohama Rubber holds groundbreaking for Mexico tire plant

The facility is set to begin production in early 2027 with a planned annual output of five million tires.

Yokohama Rubber held a groundbreaking event on April 15 for its new consumer and light truck tire plant at the Alianza Industrial Park in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. The company said the event was well attended by a crowd of state and local officials, as well as management from Yokohama companies, including YRC Chairman and CEO Masataka Yamishi; Yokohama Corporation North America (YCNA) CEO Shinichi Takimoto; and Yokohama Tire Corporation (YTC) President and CEO Jeff Barna.
