Alcoa Provides Wheels for Honda Ridgeline

(Clacton, U.K./Tyres & Accessories) Alcoa Wheel Products announced today that its 17-inch Alcoa cast aluminium wheels are used on the new 2006 Honda Ridgeline pickup truck, recently selected by Motor Trend magazine as the 2006 truck of the year.

The Alcoa wheels are featured on Ridgeline’s upgraded EX-L and EX-L Navi trim packages.

Alcoa Wheel Products supplies aluminium wheels for the Honda Ridgeline, Honda Pilot and the Honda Civic. Alcoa Wheel Products (Collingwood, Ontario) was recognised by Honda of Canada Manufacturing in May 2005 with its plant manager’s award for its commitment to quality and customer service during the launch of the new pickup truck.

“We commend our employees who ramped up production quickly to meet strong demand for the launch of the Ridgeline without compromising quality or service,” said Tim Myers, general manager, Forged Specialty and Cast Automotive Wheels, for Alcoa Wheel Products. “We congratulate Honda on this valuable designation by Motor Trend magazine.”
