Performance Tyre Guru: Another Innovation From Bridgestone

Select Autoquip, Speedy and SupaQuick dealerships attended a three-day intensive course at Kyalami and Zwartkops motor racing circuits and the Gerotek vehicle testing facility near Pretoria, covering in-depth product training as well as high speed driving, car control and wet and dry handling and braking. Upon completion of the Course, the successful salesmen graduated as Bridgestone-accredited Performance Tyre Gurus.

“So far, we have appointed 80 Performance Tyre Gurus at dealerships in eight provinces and Namibia,” said Minoru Kuroki, Bridgestone’s vice president of sales and marketing. “Together with our already established 4×4 Fundi network (where we currently have 81 specially trained 4×4 tyre experts placed in dealerships around the country,” added Kuroki.

Ascenso now accepting submissions for Farm Service Truck Technician Program

Eligible nominees are agriculture, construction and industrial tire technicians with at least five years of service in the US.

Ascenso Tires North America is taking submissions for agriculture and construction service truck technicians through Sept. 31 for the Ascenso Farm Service Truck Technician Program. According to Ascenso, eligible nominees are agriculture, construction and industrial tire technicians with at least five years of service who currently work in the United States.
