2007 Online Tire Sales Exceed Forecast

TireTrader, the innovative e-commerce suite offering developed by Signal Extraprise Corp. that simplifies ordering, streamlines the distribution network, reduces costs, and provides competitive advantage, processed over $113 million in sales during 2007.

That revenue figure exceeds the company’s forecast of just over $100 million made last summer when the latest version, TireTrader v4.0, loaded with new business mission-critical features, was rolled out to all customers at a Wholesale Tire Dealer Conference conducted by Signal Extraprise.

Connecting nearly two dozen of the nation’s top tire distributors to thousands of their respective retailers, TireTrader’s annual revenue figure represents a volume quantity of over 1.4 Million tires. Signal Extraprise is the tire industry’s premier supplier of visionary, comprehensive tire and automotive service business management, inventory, distribution, and POS suite of software solutions, the company said.

Dennis Clark, vice president of client colutions for Signal Extraprise said, “As a business-to-business transactional engine, TireTrader reinvents how wholesale and retail firms connect and conduct business. TireTrader users become believers when they see the meaningful sales results. To compete successfully in today’s challenging business environment, companies must effectively use technology to provide easy access to meaningful information, empower customers to make decisions, and streamline the sales process. It is no longer enough to just distribute a product or just sell a service. To be successful, you must add value to the distribution channel. TireTrader delivers that added value.” (Tire Review/Akron)
