Reifen 2008: Global Rubber Industries

Sri Lanka’s only representative at Reifen 2008, Global Rubber Industries took the opportunity to display their range of solid tyres – branded The Performer.

The island nation is the world’s largest producer of solid rubber tyres, supplying 60% of the global need, and Global Rubber is the dominant manufacturer.

Reporting a successful show this year, the company is already making plans for the next Reifen in 2010, where they say they will be pursuing opportunities to increase their EU market share by exhibiting their premium line of Solid Tyres at the 2010 show. GlobeStar is so far established in 25 countries.

The company – incorporated in the year 2001 – also manufactures press on band tyres. It owns and operates a production facility of over 175,000 sq ft with a rated capacity to manufacture 2,500 tons per month. (Tyres & Accessories/Staffordshire, U.K.)

Discount Tire strikes sponsorship deal with the Los Angeles Angels

The sponsorship will run for the entire 2024 season in conjunction with the Los Angeles Angels.

Discount Tire & Service Centers has a new sponsorship deal with the Los Angeles Angels for the 2024 season. Discount Tire said this partnership will not only benefit its customers with season-long promotions and giveaways but will also support local non-profits.
