Specifically, experts from the Germany’s ADAC automotive association, from the Stiftung Warentest consumer reporting institute, from the ÖAMTC (the Austrian Automobile, Motorcycle and Touring Club), from the TCS (the Swiss Touring Club) and from two of Germany’s leading motoring magazines, “AutoBild” and “auto motor und sport” compared the ContiWinterContact TS 800, TS 810 and TS 830 against over 60 competitive tyres.
The result of this host of tests, reports Conti, was glowing: All Continental products received the highest ratings assigned – “highly recommended”, “exemplary” or “good”. ContiWinterContact TS 830: Best score from ADAC and Stiftung Warentest

The experts from this Stuttgart-based publication also awarded this tyre a “highly recommended” rating. The editorial team of "AutoBild“ likewise assigned a top score of “VorBildlich“ (exemplary). A total of 20 tyre models were represented in the two tests. The ContiWinterContact TS 810 was certified as having good traction and short braking distances on snow and well-balanced handling characteristics on wet and dry roads.
