Milwaukee Tool is continuing to deliver portable productivity by expanding its M12 platform with the new M12 Compact Inflator, available in April.
The tire inflator can top-off a car tire in under one minute (28-35 psi), making it what Milwaukee calls the fastest cordless tire inflator in the industry. It is capable of completing inflation applications such as car, LT truck and compact equipment tires.
“The variety of cordless tire inflators available today have, unfortunately, failed to deliver both the speed and range of capability required by users. These inflators are able to fill passenger tires, but are unable to efficiently tackle more demanding applications,” said Tom Simeone, vice president of product management for Milwaukee Tool. “Our industry-leading cordless technology allows the M12 Compact Inflator to complete a wide range of applications from light truck tires (65-80 psi) to compact equipment (10-80 psi). As part of the M12 system, this tool also has the advantage of being completely compatible with the wide range of sub-compact tools available on this platform.”
Rated to deliver over 120 psi, the compact inflator can fill a light truck tire from flat to full on a single battery. Its RedLink Intelligence with TrueFill Auto Shut-Off Technology delivers highly accurate pressure, protects from overfill and overheating and automatically senses the speed of fill to shut off at the desired psi. A back-lit LCD screen also illuminates the digital gauge so users can more easily check the target and current pressure reading.
The M12 Compact Inflator, which weighs three pounds, is designed with an integrated handle so it can be transported almost anywhere. A reinforced cage protects it from drops, impact and inclement weather. The backside of the unit features a place to store the 26-inch hose and attachments, including a ball inflation needle, inflatable nozzle and presta chuck. To counter shifting and movement during the filling process, the unit is built with an anti-vibration stand that keeps it in place throughout the duration.
