Hankook Tire Co., in its third year partnering with Disabled American Veterans (DAV), has donated $150,000 to help support DAV’s Mobile Service Office program, and launched the Hankook Heroes recognition program to help honor America’s veterans.
“Hankook Tire is proud to continue its partnership with DAV for a third consecutive year,” said Hee Se Ahn, president, Hankook Tire America Corp. “We are honored to help provide American veterans with access to the benefits and services they deserve.”
The 2017 Hankook Heroes recognition program includes a give one, get one tire promotion and invites Americans to share a story about why veterans are heroes to them.
Submissions can be made at HankookHeroes.com between now and Aug.25. All submissions will be entered for a chance to receive a set of Hankook tires. A second set of Hankook tires will be donated to the DAV for use on one of its MSO vehicles to further help service veterans across the country.
Hankook has worked with its tire dealer network to bring DAV’s MSO vehicles to service local veterans at tire dealerships across the country at the following locations:
- Black’s Tire in Fayetteville, N.C. – Aug. 15
- Discount Tire Center in Yucca Valley, Calif. – Aug. 18
- ESS Automotive in Mentor, Ohio – Aug. 23
- CJ’s Tire in Fairless Hills, Pa. – Sept. 26
- Gateway Tire in Clarksville, Tenn. – Oct 20
- Russo Tires in Doral, Fla. – Oct. 30
Additionally, to recognize the men and women who have served, Hankook and DAV will co-sponsor all five Cincinnati Reds Military Appreciation Days throughout the 2017 baseball season.
