After 11 years in the tire industry, Jamie Bullis defines success by the quality of the job and the satisfaction of her customers. She has plenty of accolades to reflect her hard work and success. She was the second female recipient of Bridgestone Retail Operation’s 2014 Automotive Service Excellence Tech of the Year award and was elected to the ASE Board of Governors in 2015.

“I think women are influencing the industry by just showing everyone that we can do the same things as men,” she says.

Each day she opens the store, assists customers, and repairs vehicles with her fellow technicians.

“When I go to work and am confident that I did my job to the best of my ability, made my customers happy and fixed their cars, then I feel successful,” she says.

In the future, she thinks the sky is the limit with new technology and run flats will become more common.
