The Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA) and the Auto Care Association have selected four students to receive the 2016 Auto Care Internship Scholarship.
This scholarship program is designed to provide financial support to students pursuing internships across the country to gain knowledge and experience in a variety of auto care industry careers.
Each recipient will receive a scholarship of $2,500 to apply to the costs of round-trip travel from their permanent address to the internship location, lodging, utilities and food.
The 2016 recipients include:
- Alesandra D’Agostino, attendending Northwood University and interning at Bosch in Broadview, Ill.
- Brenna Murphy, attending Northwood University and interning at Bosch in Broadview, Ill.
- Ryan Thurston, attending Northwood University and interning at KYB in San Diego, Calif.
- Yimin Wu, attending Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa, and interning at GCommerce in Des Moines, Iowa.
Scholarship recipients were chosen by a selection committee that includes members of AWDA, the Auto Care Association Education Committee and the Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG) Advisory Council.
