Jack Williams Tire Acquires Lebzelter’s Total Car Care

The world’s oldest Goodyear dealership, Lebzelter’s Total Car Care, has been sold to wholesale supplier, Jack Williams Tire Co.

Founded in 1854, Lebzelter’s Total Car Care has been providing tire and auto service to the Lancaster area for more than a century.

Majority owners of Lebzelter’s Clair McCormick, president, and Daniel A. Miller, vice president, sold all three Lancaster, Pa.,-area tire and automotive service locations to Jack Williams Tire.

In the next few months, Lebzelter’s will be rebranded and updated into Jack Williams Tire Stores. Tire and service selections will be expanded and extended hours and free shuttle service will go into effect. Miller will manage the Millersville location with the original Lebzelter team.

Jack Williams Tire said it will also hire at least 12 additional employees.

Jack Williams Tire Co. operates 34 tire and auto service centers in northeastern and central Pennsylvania as well as 12 wholesale distribution centers in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey.

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has named Ryan Waldron as president of the company's Americas business unit, reporting to Chief Executive Officer and President Mark Stewart. He succeeds Steven R. McClellan, who retired on April 1.
