The Department of Commerce announced its final determinations in the antidumping duty and countervailing duty investigations on the import of certain Chinese made passenger and light truck tires on June 12.

The International Trade Commission is scheduled to make a final determination on whether or not the import of certain Chinese made passenger and light truck tires “materially injure, or threaten material injury to, the domestic industry,” on July 27, 2015. If the ITC finds that Chinese imports harm the industry, then the antidumping and countervailing duties will go into affect.
