Bridgestone Breaks Ground on New U.S. HQ

Yesterday, Bridgestone Americas celebrated the groundbreaking on its new headquarters in downtown Nashville, Tenn. Several state and regional reps, as well as Bridgestone execs were on hand for the groundbreaking ceremony.

The 30-story building, $200 million project, is expected to be complete in mid to late 2017. Once completed, the facility will house more than 1,700 employees – 1,100 from its current headquarters and 600 from out of state.

The new headquarters will be located off 4th Avenue South and Demonbreun St. in Nashville and will be home to Bridgestone Americas’ corporate staff, tire and retail operations, Firestone Building Products Co. and Firestone Industrial Products Co.

Giti Tire Manufacturing awarded by Chester County Chamber of Commerce

Giti Tire said it has been a supporter of education, organized farmer’s markets and participated in community food drives.

Giti Tire Manufacturing (USA) received the Industry of the Year Award from the Chester County Chamber of Commerce. Among its initiatives, Giti Tire said it has been a staunch supporter of education, sponsoring the Giti Math & Science competition in collaboration with the Chester County School District since 2018.
