Robert Bosch has redesigned its website www.boschautoparts.com, enhancing it for mobile use.
The new design makes it easier to search for, select and purchase Bosch products on a mobile device or desktop, the company said.
“This initiative was driven mainly by a shift we saw in the marketplace. Our research and website analytics indicated that our customer base – including do-it-yourselfers (DIYers) and automotive service technicians – was more frequently utilizing a mobile device to search for the parts they needed and to make purchases,” said Jean Philippe “JP” Persico, manager of digital innovation and strategy at Bosch Aftermarket North America.
The new design allows users to either browse the parts catalog by category or identify up to three different vehicles and search all the Bosch parts offered for those specific vehicles, the company said. Once a part is selected, the where-to-buy function is just click away, Bosch said.
