#SEMA/GTE: ATG Rolls Out Solid Skid Steer Tire

Alliance Tire Group (ATG) unveiled its new Galaxy Beefy Baby SDS solid skid steer tire at this week’s SEMA Show/Global Tire Expo (booth #43203).

The latest addition to a long line of purpose-built Galaxy-branded tires for skid steers, the new tire features the classic Beefy Baby tread design over a solid carcass, multiplying the service life of the tire, increasing its load capacity, and reducing downtime to nearly zero, ATG said.

“The Galaxy Beefy Baby has become the gold standard for pneumatic skid steer tires, and adding a solid version provides a new severe-duty option for operators working on even tougher job sites or handling even heavier materials,” said Bruce Besancon, vice president of marketing for Alliance. “It’s part of our commitment to developing tires for the challenges our customers face every day on the job.”

The Galaxy Beefy Baby SDS is available in sizes 31×10-20 and 33×12-20, both with and without sidewall apertures, which can help to reduce heat buildup and improve ride comfort, ATG noted.
