The Car Care Council Women’s Board annually honors deserving women in the industry with the Women of the Year Awards. Nominations for this year’s awards are being accepted until Friday, Oct. 3.
The Women of the Year Awards features three categories: Auto Care Woman of Excellence, Female Shop Owner of the Year and Auto Care Woman of the Year.
For 2014, The Car Care Council Women’s Board has expanded its Female Shop Owner of the Year award to include women that own an independent repair shop, tire center or heavy-duty repair shop.

The awards will be presented during the Women’s Board Reception at AAPEX, scheduled this year for Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 5 p.m. at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas. At this reception, the board will also present the Automotive Communication Awards and the $5,000 Becky Babcox Women’s Board Scholarship.
