TIA Set Seven ATS Training Tour Dates

The Tire Industry Association set dates for seven of its 2014 ATS Training Tour locations. The schedule is as follows:

Feb. 4 – 8: Charlotte, N.C.

March 4 – 8: Sarasota, Fla.

March 25 – 28: Houston

May 20 – 23: Minneapolis

June 24 – 27: Denver

Aug. 5 – 7: Chicago

Sept. 16 – 19: Cincinnati

The ATS Tour will also visit the following cities with specific dates still to be announced: Anchorage, Ala., Baltimore, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Boston, Tallahassee, Fla., and Los Angeles.

These 4-day, in-depth classroom and hands-on training classes educate tire technicians on the proper safety procedures and guidelines for servicing passenger and light truck tire and wheel assemblies. There will also be a full day of instruction on Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS). Classes are generally hosted at local community and technical colleges.
