OTC Giving Away Scan Tools Weekly

OTC Tools is giving away Evolve or Encore professional diagnostics kits each week between now and April 30.

OTC Tools is giving away two OTC Evolve or Encore professional diagnostics kits each week between now and April 30.

Technicians can enter the sweepstakes at www.otctools.com/fix/win-diagnostics. Two technicians will be selected at random each week to win an Evolve or Encore. Only technicians in North America are eligible. Full contest details can be found on the sweepstakes page.

The Evolve, OTC’s newest scan tool, features OEM-quality wiring diagrams available directly on the tool, a wireless VCI that doubles as a J2534 device and a 10.1” high-resolution screen, OTC said.

OTC Encore is an Android-based diagnostic tool. Since it was launched in 2014 several software upgrades have improved the tools vehicle coverage, special tests and controls, OTC said.

Cosmo Tires, distributed by Tire Group International, has introduced changes to its mileage warranty and road-hazard programs which will now feature a mileage warranty of 40,000-70,000 miles for all passenger and light truck tires offered.

“Our products are over-built and tested on the most rigorous tracks and terrains around the globe and this reflects our investments in manufacturing and quality. Now, all passenger and light truck tires carry Cosmo’s road hazard and mileage warranty ranging from 40,000-70,000 miles," said Dominick Montouri, chief strategy officer of Tire Group International, said.
