The new General S371 features a 20/32nds tread depth with a cut- and chip-resistant tread compound for longer tread life in on/off road conditions, according to CTNA. The new tire also features a load-range H casing and stone ejectors in its tread grooves.
CTNA added that the General S371 uses “visual alignment indicators” (VAI) on the shoulder ribs, allowing customers to identify tire-tracking irregularities within the first 5/32nds of tire wear. This allows for vehicle adjustments to be made that will extend tire life, the tiremaker said.
Recommended applications include bottom dumps, end dumps, coal haulers, school buses, waste haulers, beverage trucks and local pick up and delivery. The General S371 is available in the following sizes: 11R22.5; 11R24.5; 285/75R24.5; and 295/75R22.5.
