Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations has reached a settlement in a design patent infringement case.
In April 2014, Bridgestone filed a lawsuit against Tread Wright LLC and TreadWright Tires LLC for a line of retreaded light truck tires that Bridgestone alleged infringed on its patented tread for Dueler A/T Revo tire.
The tiremaker recently reached a settlement with TreadWright and TreadWright Tires, which included an agreement by TreadWright to no longer offer the accused Watchman and Sentinel line of retreaded light truck tires, Bridgestone said.
Bridgestone Americas is committed to protecting its intellectual property and will continue to take legal action against any infringement on the company’s patens, trademarks and intellectual property, it said.
