The Rubber Manufacturers Association presented its Safety and Health Improvement Program award at the organization’s annual meeting in St. Augustine, Fla., Apr. 13. The award was created to encourage and reward member companies for safety and health advancements made in the workplace, Pirelli said.
“Earning this honor five times is a real testament to Pirelli’s commitment to safety,” said Andrew Kearton, vice president of manufacturing at PTNA. “Pirelli’s employees understand that through our commitment to safety, we are able to accomplish great things. The safety of our employees is our number one priority, and each of us is responsible for maintaining a safe working environment at Pirelli.” (Tire Review/Akron)
