Toyo Tires has a presence in three locations at this year’s SEMA Show: the tiremaker’s main booth in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center; the DUB Live area located in the parking lot outside the South Hall; and Toyo Tires Treadpass, the new passageway connecting the Central and South Halls.
Toyo’s main exhibit features the trophy truck of desert off-road champion and Team Toyo driver BJ Baldwin flying high over a Nissan GT-R. The scene is a life-size reenactment of a popular video that features Baldwin soaring high over model Janey Lee as she stands next to a Nissan GT-R. Both Baldwin and Lee are available to meet fans and sign autographs.
Also on display is the full line of Toyo light truck and passenger tires, along with the Toyo Tires iPad App so attendees can learn even more without waiting, the tiremaker said.
Toyo Tires Treadpass features more than 20 customized cars, trucks and big rigs, all equipped with Proxes, Open Country and commercial tires that represent Toyo’s line of products. The Treadpass also is home to a commercial tire display with the Toyo Tires Commercial iPad App, the company added.
The Toyo Tires motorsports exhibit is staged at the entrance of DUB Live area.
“The increased number of Toyo-branded exhibits at the 2013 SEMA Show gives us the opportunity to showcase our broad range of tire offerings for the aftermarket industry,” said Amy Coleman, senior director of marketing for Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. “When people think about customizing their truck, sports car or vintage vehicle, we want them to think Toyo Tires.”
Showgoers and racing fans will have the opportunity to see Team Toyo drivers battle it out in a special exhibition Nov. 6 at 5 p.m. in the Ford Out Front area.
