Hunter Engineering Co.’s Quick Tread drive over tread depth unit is now available in a flush mount configuration.

Hunter’s Quick Tread system measures the tread depth of each tire in seconds by measuring 280,000 data points across a two-inch segment of the tire after driving over the Quick Tread unit. From there, the unit generates a three-dimensional model of the customer’s tire and results are presented in a digital report and on a customizable printout.

No Internet connection or recurring monthly charge is needed to access results and the unit is driven by Hunter’s award-winning Win Align software.

Quick Tread also stores all tread depth records to create a customer history and is easily added to existing Hunter Quick Check systems or Hawkeye Elite aligners. The unit can also be installed as a stand-alone system.
