Built on the technology that went into engineering the company’s Grabber off-road competition tires, the Grabber HTS includes key technologies to provide a synergy of comfort, durability, and performance, General said.
The tire features high-strength steel belts, micro-fiber casing reinforcements, response grooves, stabilink bars, three kinds of siping, an all-new tread cushioning system and noise-capturing pockets, and a tread compound designed to improve fuel economy by reducing rolling resistance, according to the company.
The Grabber HTS is now available in more than 30 sizes, from 15- through 20-inches. An additional release of 30-plus sizes will follow in the third quarter. The tire comes in Q, S, T, H and V-speed ratings, and carries a UTQG Rating of 640 AB. (Tire Review/Akron)
