ETI Launches New TPMS, Telematics Studies

The Equipment and Tool Institute (ETI) is launching its second Market Research Study to cover Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) and specific questions on the growing trend of the OEMs to equip vehicles with telematics.

ETI said the online-only survey was designed to collect data to provide the industry with information that is valuable for the repair of vehicles on the road today.

“We will be surveying automotive repair facilities in an effort to find out more about their familiarity with TPMS and telematics, ETI said, and will use this research to help all segments of the automotive industry provide aftermarket shops with better tool and equipment solutions.

Yokohama Rubber partners with Haupt Racing Team

Yokohama Rubber said it is aiming for victories at the Nürburgring 24-Hour Race and Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie (NLS) with Advan tires.

Yokohama Rubber has signed a partnership agreement with Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing’s Haupt Racing Team (HRT). As part of the Advan Challenge that seeks to maximize sales of Advan tires, Yokohama Rubber said it is aiming for victories at the Nürburgring 24-Hour Race and Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie (NLS) by supplying its Advan racing tires for the Mercedes-AMG GT3 being entered in those races by HRT.
