ACDelco Adds Free Online Training

ACDelco is offering three new online diagnostic training courses to its TechConnect. The free Techline Information System (TIS2Web) courses are designed to support service professionals and independent shops who perform diagnostics and repair on General Motors vehicles.

The new courses are Multiple Diagnostic Interface Familiarization, Global Diagnostic System and Global Diagnostic System GDS2/MDI.

Multiple Diagnostic Interface Familiarization cover common characteristics of the MDI including setup software, on vehicle operation and the service programming system procedure, according to ACDelco.

Global Diagnostic System discusses the new Global Diagnostic System, including its software and hardware components, its setup and operation as well as diagnostic procedures.

The Global Diagnostic System GDS2/MDI course focuses on software, hardware, components, setup, operations and diagnostic procedures for GDS2, ACDelco said.

The new courses are available on ACDelco Test Drive, and are designed to complement ACDelco’s TIS2Web Internet-based subscription service. The TIS2Web subscription software is designed to help independent service professionals diagnose and repair GM vehicles to save time, grow their businesses and improve customer satisfaction, ACDelco said.
