Pep Boys has contracted with Allstate Roadside Services to provide emergency roadside assistance to customers of its 580 retail locations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
In the deal, when towing for repair is required, Allstate will recommend taking the vehicle to the nearest Pep Boys location, and the location will be contacted in advance with information about the customer’s vehicle and repair needs.
"We believe partnering with Allstate Roadside Services will help us grow our towing program and better serve customers in need of roadside assistance," said Mike Odell, CEO of Pep Boys.
Allstate Roadside Services has a network of approximately 38,000 towing service providers nationwide, available to offer 24-hour towing, battery boost, flat tire change, lock-out assistance and fuel delivery.
