Automotive Parts Associates Welcomes German OEM Distributor

Automotive Parts Associates (APA) has welcomed German OEM parts specialists, Name South, LLC as the newest shareholders in the organization.

Automotive Parts Associates (APA) has welcomed German OEM parts specialists, Name South, LLC as the newest shareholders in the organization.

Based in Mooresville, North Carolina, Name South has been supporting the German OEM and European auto parts market in North America for vehicles manufactured by Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Saab, Volkswagen and Volvo since 2004.

“We are thrilled to welcome Name South to the APA family. The diversity between our shareholders adds to the distinctive differences that create the foundations of support that gives us strength and unifies our organization,” said Douglas Squires, chairman of the APA board of directors.

As shareholders of the nonprofit member-owned program group, Name South will have full voting rights and ability to participate APA initiatives like customer loyalty promotions and trips.

“All of us at Name South are very excited to be part of the APA group. We are confident that this collaboration will create new opportunities for us as we meet new people, make new friends and re-connect with some acquaintances from years past. The welcome we have received thus far has been amazing and we feel honored to be part of the APA family,” said Ken Donaldson, Name South purchasing manager.
