Akebono Expands Territory Sales Team With Addition Of Dom Ramirez

Akebono Brake Corp. has hired Domingo (Dom) Ramirez to serve as territory sales manager for the U.S. central region aftermarket business.

Akebono Brake Corp. has hired Domingo (Dom) Ramirez to serve as territory sales manager for the U.S. central region aftermarket business.

“Dom’s automotive and professional experience along with his deep knowledge of brake friction make him a valuable partner to our customer programs,” said Brian Horvath, regional sales manager, U.S. central region, Akebono.

Ramirez earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Governors State University.

Prior to joining Akebono, Ramirez worked at Federal-Mogul Motorparts as a technical product specialist. He also worked at Raytheon Professional Services LLC, General Motors and Dana Inc. in sales management positions.

Ramirez will be located in Illinois and will report to Horvath.
