Bosch Automotive Aftermarket North America’s “Giving Track” charitable contribution program has extended its support by donating $4,000 in May.
Through Giving Track, Bosch pledges $1,000 to a team-specified charity each time one of its sponsored drivers wins a 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
The May contributions were split between four Joe Gibbs Racing and Team Penske drivers who earned approximately $8,000 and $3,000 in Bosch donations this season. Contributions were made to the Checkered Flag Foundation, the Kyle Busch Foundation, Motor Racing Outreach and the Joey Logano Foundation.
“May was an exciting month for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, with a different driver taking the checkered flag in each race! With four of those winners being Bosch-sponsored drivers, we’re thrilled to spread the Bosch Giving Track charitable contributions across multiple deserving organizations,” said Tony Pauly, director of advertising and brand management for Robert Bosch LLC. “Through our partnerships with these champion drivers and all of our sponsored teams, Bosch is able to contribute at two significant levels. Its legacy of technical expertise helps to support on-track performance with Bosch parts and services. At the same time, we continue the philanthropic legacy of our founder with off-track support of team charities.”
