Pirelli Tops J.D. Power Study Performance Sport Segment

Pirelli received the highest ranking in the Performance Sport segment in the J.D. Power 2016 Original Equipment Tire Customer Satisfaction Study for the third year in a row.

The tiremaker has took top honors in the Performance Sport segment for the past five out of seven years, with the highest score in 2016, 2015, 2014, 2012 and 2010. This year, Pirelli improved its index score from 693 to 724.

Pirelli also ranked second in the luxury segment.

“To receive the J.D. Power 2016 Award in the Performance Sport segment for the third consecutive year is a real honor for Pirelli. We’re proud to have our tires recognized once again and also improve on our satisfaction score from 2015 to rank highest with consumers in North America,” said Pierluigi Dinelli, chairman and CEO for Pirelli Tire North America.
