Hankook Partners with Disabled American Veterans

Hankook Tire America Corp. is sponsoring the Disabled American Veterans’ Mobile Service Office (MSO) in Tennessee.

The MSO provides free services to local veterans in northern Tennessee who need assistance filing claims for Veteran Affairs benefits.

“Hankook is proud to partner with DAV’s MSO program and utilize mobility to ensure veterans receive the valuable services they need right in their hometowns,” said Henry Kopacz, public relations and social media manager for Hankook.

DAV’s MSO will be available at two Gateway Tire locations this week – in Gallatin, Tenn. on Sept. 24, and in Clarksville, Tenn. on Sept 25.

The Disable American Veteran makes 70 stops within the southeast region each year to provide free services. At the MSO stops, certified DAV National Service Officers will be available in the “office on wheels” to ensure veterans receive the benefits they earned.

Two of Hankook’s dealer partners will host stops for MSO events:  Gateway Tire in Gallatin and Gateway Tire in Clarksville.

Yokohama Rubber has signed a partnership agreement with Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing’s Haupt Racing Team (HRT). As part of the Advan Challenge that seeks to maximize sales of Advan tires, Yokohama Rubber said it is aiming for victories at the Nürburgring 24-Hour Race and Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie (NLS) by supplying its Advan racing tires for the Mercedes-AMG GT3 being entered in those races by HRT.
